We loved being Chateau Rigaud France Wedding Photographer. First of all, there cannot be many places on this planet as amazing and unique as this Chateau. Set in award-winning vineyards and stunning grounds this venue is so romantic and beautifully set out. Beziiqué Destination Wedding Photographers had the pleasure of shooting Sarah and Joe’s amazing wedding day at this gorgeous venue. Chateau Rigaud is steeped in history and authentic charm.
The venue itself is 5-star and luxurious. The ceremony venue is rustic and very quaint. A visual feast for the eyes. The perfect setting for an elegant French styled wedding. The deep blue skies are so intense, the smell of flowers in the air is intoxicating and the most delicious food is available. The staff at the venue are super friendly and welcoming, making time spent there even more amazing. They made us feel like part of the family, so much so we were invited the day before to meet the team to show us around their amazing venue.
Grapevines, blue skies, and the most gorgeous venue!
Sarah and Joe chose this venue for a reason and we can so clearly see why. The light and ambience here in Bordeaux are amazing for us as wedding photographers and there are lots of hidden corners of the venue perfect to have pictures taken or to just sit and relax taking in all the beauty this location has to offer.
The evening reception was held at the delightful barn in the grounds of Chateau Rigaud. The decorations were beautiful and candlelight created a gorgeous ambient glow during the wedding breakfast. After dinner instead of cutting a traditional wedding cake, Sarah and Joe had a Croquembouche. This is a tower of profiterole covered in spun sugar. This is not a cake to cut but to smash! Sarah and Joe used a vintage bottle of French Champagne!! The evening was completed to perfection with the amazing Bright Lights band who gave first-class entertainment and lighting. We really did not wish to leave at the end of this amazing day. It finished on a true high!
First of all, we would like to thank Sarah and Joe for booking us for their wedding at Chateau Rigaud. It was a day of sheer joy and also fun. Secondly, we would like to extend a special thank you to Emma and the venue staff for making us feel so at home and making sure that the day ran like a dream.
