Not every couple’s brief is the same – in fact, more often than not, they’re completely unique and the creative challenges that brings us are what keep the magic happening. For Alana and Luke, we knew from the word go that it was going to be an epic one. That’s because this cool couple asked us to be their trash the dress photographer after the big day.
But we won’t kick things off with a glimpse behind the scenes as their trash the dress sea caves wedding photographer. First, we’ll let the newlyweds share the story of their day.
Pick up some ultra-romantic inspiration as you plan your own destination dream day – as a Cyprus wedding photographer, we love to discover and capture new ideas too!
A Cyprus wedding in the hills
“We chose to get married in Cyprus because of the amazing weather,” bride Alana explains. “Minthis Hills was the first venue we looked at and it was literally love at first sight.”
“We styled the venue with a dusky rose colour scheme to complement the greenery in the grounds. My sister Krystal was my bridesmaid and wore an Oasis dress in the same shade – she looked stunning.”
Two groomsmen joined Luke wearing dapper navy suits, while their son embraced the important role of pageboy.
Choosing their trash the dress photographer
“I stalked Nick and Aimie’s work on Facebook and got in touch with Nick right away. We booked a trash the dress shoot for the day after the wedding. It was incredible!”
Cyprus wedding photography with a difference
While this couple’s trash the dress wishlist took us to the coast, we didn’t dive into the water straight away. Instead, we headed for the clifftops. This gave us wide open, panoramic, unbelievably blue views to play with, and plenty of hidden nooks to hide coloured smoke flares.
The beauty of being a trash the dress photographer is that there’s no need to worry about keeping clothes pristine, so we can be as creative as you want and capture those once-in-a-lifetime shots.
Trash the dress oceanside
Our work as a trash the dress photographer takes us to a whole host of different locations. Dusty desert landscapes, which contrast a white wedding dress beautifully and look even more incredible when we throw coloured flares into the mix. And here, to the Cyprus sea caves, where rock plays an extra role, adding a warm glow around the glassy turquoise sea.
It almost always involves getting in the water too! These sea level shots are total stunners, so behind the scenes we’ll be wrapping up the camera and jumping in ourselves. We’ll push the limits of photography to create the ultimate dream images for you.
Sun and sea-splashed photos from a sea caves wedding photographer
The bride’s Beskle Couture gown looked gorgeous in the sun-kissed, ocean-shimmering light thanks to its elegantly bohemian vibe. Not to be outdone, the groom’s stone-toned suit by Magee was the perfect complement to the rocky surroundings – the perfect palette for us to work with as their sea caves wedding photographer.
Fancy making a splash after your own Cyprus wedding? Invite us along for the ride and we’ll show you the very best of the sea caves, help you raise a toast with Champagne, and create pictures as your trash the dress photographer that you’ll simply never forget. Tell us what you’d like to create on your own sea caves wedding shoot!
