Engagement Shoot at Virginia Water in Surrey
Is there just nothing more romantic than a hand in hand walk in the woods? With the one you love at your side on an early autumnal morning? Kicking up the golden leaves that crunch underfoot as you pass, with a sense of mystery in the air all around you? It is a very magical time of year indeed with an amazing light early in the day. Lauren and Anthony chose to have their engagement shoot with us here at Virginia Waters in Surrey, which is part of the Windsor Great Park complex.
This is a wonderful place to be, full of beautiful specimen trees and flowers which is open all year round to the public. There is a man made cascade waterfall over large rocks that is you are brave you can get across and a very pleasant 4.5 mile walk around the lake, encompassing many curiosities, including a one hundred foot carved totem pole which was a gift from the people of Canada to our Queen in 1958, an obelisk raised by George II, and part of a ruined city tucked away on the west side of the lake called Leptis Magna imported from near Tripoli in Libya. The park is popular with all ages and a dog walkers haven.
The park provided the ideal setting and back drop to a very relaxed, casual engagement shoot with us and we had great fun with this couple, there was a lot of laughter. This is a couple very much in love with one another and we wish them well for their future together going forward and loved shooting their wedding photography in late April 2016 at Dorney Court in Windsor, Berkshire.
With much love to you both, from all the team at Beziiqué – Nick, Aimie and Carolyne xx
