Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Beziique collects when you visit our website or enquire about your wedding, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have. We keep it short and plain, and we only collect what we need to look after your enquiry and your wedding day.
GDPR at a glance
Beziique is based in Cyprus, so the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to everything we do with your personal information. In short: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it only to answer your enquiry and plan and photograph your wedding, we never sell it, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete it at any time by emailing nick@beziique.com. The rest of this policy explains each point in full.
Who we are
Beziique is the wedding photography business of Nick and Aimie Wild, based at Agathangelou Christodoulou, Kouklia, Pafos 8500, Cyprus. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at nick@beziique.com or on +357 99 290042.
What we collect
When you use the enquiry form on our contact page, we receive the details you choose to give us: your name, telephone number, email address, wedding date and, if you add them, your venue, budget and a message about your plans. The form also records your answers to its two consent questions.
If you email, call or message us, we keep that correspondence. If you book us, we also hold the details needed for your contract and invoices, your wedding-day plans and, of course, the photographs and film we create on the day.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website, such as which pages are read and where visitors come from, but its cookies are only set if you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set, though Google may still receive basic signals without any identifier (for example, that a page was viewed) which it uses to estimate overall visitor numbers. We remember your choice in your browser, and you can change it at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. We use no advertising cookies and do not build profiles of visitors. The enquiry form on our contact page is provided by 17hats and loads inside its own frame; it uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam and also loads a Google Analytics script set up by 17hats, which is covered by 17hats’ own privacy policy.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, check our availability and send you a quote — steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
- To plan and photograph your wedding and deliver your gallery, album or film under our contract with you.
- To keep the business and tax records that Cyprus law requires.
- To contact you about your enquiry by email, phone or SMS, which the enquiry form asks your agreement to.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it, through Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
We never sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing. Images from your wedding appear in our portfolio or journal only as agreed in your booking contract.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the business, and they handle your information only on our instructions:
- 17hats, our client-management system, which runs the enquiry form and stores enquiries, contracts and invoices. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google's own privacy policy and terms, and 17hats runs its own Google Analytics on the form.
- Google, which provides Google Analytics on our website if you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.
- Our website host, which processes standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type in its server logs so the site can be delivered securely.
- Vimeo, which plays the wedding film embedded in one of our journal posts. We load it in Vimeo's do-not-track mode.
- Our email and accounting providers, and suppliers you ask us to work with on your day.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where your information is transferred, it is protected by safeguards recognised under EU law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. If you book with us, we keep your contract, invoices and wedding records for as long as Cyprus tax and accounting law requires, and we keep your photographs so we can help if you ever need them again. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email nick@beziique.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (gov.cy/dataprotection) or to the data protection authority where you live, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we handle personal information changes. Last updated: October 2026.
