Almyra Hotel, Paphos – Cyprus Wedding Photographer
Jaclyn & Steven chose Beziiqué to be their Almyra Hotel, Paphos Cyprus Wedding Photographer, here is their story :
Over 7 years ago Steven didn’t show up to our first date so I went to a boxing match and he turned up there the following night. He apologised and asked me on a date again and the rest is history
Steven proposed to me November in 2015. We went to New York and took a walk to Times Square. He told me to look what was on the big billboard and to my surprise, it was a picture of our son saying “mummy will you marry daddy”
Tell us about your dress:

We used paper flowers to decorate our venue and they made our dream a reality!

We always imagined getting married in front of the water under a beautiful white draped arch. The Almyra was by far our favorite venue as it brought so much class to our wedding day. We had our cocktail reception on the beautiful Kyma roofs with stunning views of Paphos. The Cyprus food is incredible and our guests were so happy with the food choice. Both our guests and ourselves got some amazing sunset photographs that we will treasure. Then we had Andy host our party at night and he played the best music.
What was the favorite part of your wedding day?
Has to be saying my vows to my husband in front of the water can’t even explain how magical it was. And dancing to our first dance “Wonderwall”
The Almyra was perfect. We didn’t want our wedding to feel like a wedding in a holiday complex. The Almyra’s gardens Made our wedding so private and intimate. The staff couldn’t have done enough for us.
I came across paper flowers only 3 months prior to our wedding and changed my luck asking if our wedding date was available. It was the only last date that month she had so was meant to be. For the ceremony she made it look like a fairy tale. The flower mounted draped arch was stunning along with the white runner with scattered petals. Then for the reception, she made us a beautiful blush pink flower wall with our names mounted on it in soft gold. Our centerpieces were blush pink flower balls on crystal candelabras. Our do Andy set up lit up love letters on our dance floor in the West mosaics restaurant for night time.
Food/Music Evening Entertainment/ Dj / Fireworks:
We had a traditional Cypriot mezze style menu and the food was unbelievable. We had a mixture of grilled chicken, fillet steak, and pork. Our first dance was Wonderwall, not your typical first dance song but it meant a lot to us. We ended the night like a proper Scottish wedding all singing together loch Lomond. That’s when I got so emotional at how much it meant to us people traveling over to Cyprus to spend our special day with us.
Visit Cyprus beforehand so you can properly imagine how your day will be. End of September weather would have been better it was incredibly hot even at 4 pm.
Within 5 minutes of meeting these guys, we felt like we knew them for a decade. So on our wavelength! We had such a laugh from the word go and felt like they played such a big part of our wedding day. Can’t thank you guys enough ❤️📸
