Our Favourite Liopetro Weddings
Every wedding at Liopetro looks a little different — different flowers, different guest lists, different weather — but certain moments keep repeating themselves, wedding after wedding, because the venue itself keeps giving us the same gift. After 400+ weddings shot at this one address, here's a look back through some of our favourites.
The morning
Liopetro's stone-walled getting-ready rooms photograph beautifully in soft morning light — we've lost count of the quiet, unposed moments they've given us over the years, from Sarah & Ben's boho wedding to countless mornings since.

The ceremony
The circular terrace is where all of this really starts. It reconfigures beautifully around whatever a couple brings — a floral arch, a simple altar, rows of wooden chairs — and it's given us some of our favourite ceremony frames anywhere in Cyprus, Nicola & Joel's wedding among them.

Golden hour among the ruins
This is the moment Liopetro couples don't always know to expect until we walk them there: the neighbouring Palaepaphos ruins, a few minutes' walk from the terrace, catching the last light of the day. Marco & Anastassia's wedding and Jess & Andy's wedding both gave us portraits here that are still among our favourites from this venue.

The reception
As the light fades, the string lighting takes over and dinner moves outdoors under it. Speeches, first dances, and the kind of unguarded laughter that only really shows up once everyone's had a glass of wine — Charlene & Ben's wedding is a good example of how this part of the day tends to go.

After dark
Liopetro's late licence means the night doesn't have to end early, and we've photographed everything from quiet last dances to full cold-spark send-offs with the venue's own sign lit up behind the couple. It's often our favourite hour of the whole day to shoot.

The moments Liopetro keeps giving us
Different couples, different seasons — the same venue finding new ways to be beautiful.
The light never repeats itself
The same terrace at 6pm in June looks nothing like it does at 6pm in October, which is part of why no two galleries from this venue ever look the same.
400+ weddings, no two alike.
The ruins, every single time
Almost every couple who marries at Liopetro ends up with a portrait among the neighbouring ancient ruins — it's become one of our most requested walks on the day.
A backdrop nobody else nearby has.
A village we call home
Nick and Aimie live in Kouklia, the same village as the venue, which is part of why they keep coming back to shoot here more than anywhere else.
Local, not just booked for the day.

What our couples say
“We honestly cannot thank Nick and Aimie enough for capturing our wedding day so beautifully. They made us feel completely at ease and comfortable.”
“Nick and Aimie are honestly amazing. I booked them nearly three years before my wedding — the photos are so stunning, more incredible than I imagined.”
“Nick and Aimie were absolutely amazing, they completely brought the energy. They really are the best in the business, I highly recommend!!”
“Honestly, I have no words to describe how amazing Nick is! He had everyone laughing and smiling all day — he has a true talent.”
“I honestly can't recommend Nick and Aimie enough! We're absolutely over the moon with our photographs — we know we'll treasure these memories forever.”

How many weddings has Beziique photographed at Liopetro?
More than 400 and counting. Nick and Aimie live in Kouklia, the same village Liopetro sits in, and it's the venue they return to more than any other.
Can I see more real weddings from this venue?
Yes — this page links out to several full real-wedding stories from Liopetro throughout, and our Liopetro venue guide and planning guide both have more images and detail.
Is Liopetro right for a small, low-key wedding, or does it suit bigger celebrations better?
Both, honestly — we've shot intimate elopements here for a handful of guests and full celebrations for well over a hundred, and the venue flexes comfortably between them.
If we book Liopetro, can Beziique photograph our wedding?
That's exactly what we'd love to do — see our Liopetro wedding photography page for how we cover a day at this venue, or get in touch directly with your date.
