Vasilias Nikoklis Inn Wedding Photographer
Maddy and Itai got married here last year in October. The sun was still warm, even though it was late in the year. Cypriot olive pickers wandered about picking the fruit from the trees collecting them in handmade baskets. They had been given us as their Vasilias Nikoklis Inn Wedding Photographer as a gift and was a lovely gesture. We love shooting weddings at Vasilias.
The Vasilias Inn in Paphos is such a unique venue. It is in the middle of a rural valley just off a road, frequented by the odd herd of goats. This is true Cyprus. The inn is very old and is family run by a wonderful team of staff. They absolutely love what they do and it really shows in the way the building is kept and the gardens maintained. It’s so pretty and the flowers fill the air with wonderful scent. They love all their brides and grooms and show exceptional service.
The Day
Itai got dressed for the wedding day in one of the dozen rooms available to couples at Inn. He wore a deep wine red suit and looked very handsome in it. Maddy wore a wedding dress that had beautiful lace accents. Her dark brown hair in a casual updo. Her wedding bouquet was filled with tulips, stargazer lilies, and orchids. So pretty.
Under the pergola at the inn, it looked amazing, with lanterns hanging from the wooden beams. They were adorned with fresh flowers in a myriad of colours. The table centres looked like beautiful floral rainbows. The courtyard was scattered with petals and decorated in a lovely rustic way.
The ceremony was a small family affair and was full of love and laughter. Rings and vows were exchanged between Maddy and Itai and then they signed their marriage certificates.
We then took some photographs of the bridal party and then took the couple off to shoot a more private set of shots, in the golden light of the afternoon. Maddy and Itai returned to their guests and enjoyed a lovely evening reception.
We wish you every happiness in the future from all the team at Beziiqué
