Four Seasons Wedding Photography, Limassol

The Four Seasons Hotel in Limassol is a long-established, independently run beachfront hotel with something few Cyprus resorts can offer: its own small chapel in the grounds. With a pier over the sea for slightly larger ceremonies and a private dining room for the meal, it is a natural fit for intimate weddings and elopements where every guest gets a seat near the front. Nick and Aimie Wild of Beziique have been photographing Cyprus weddings since 2008, and the Four Seasons is a place we would love to photograph.

About the Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

The hotel is on the beach in Agios Tychonas, east of Limassol town, with around 300 rooms and suites, many with sea views. Its wedding offering revolves around two ceremony settings. St George Chapel, built in a traditional Orthodox style, has bench seating for around 10 with space for a further 25 chairs in front, so roughly 35 guests in all. The hotel pier holds up to 80 and is one of the better-known spots for a beachfront ceremony in Limassol.

The hotel lists civil marriages, Anglican weddings, vow renewals and blessings, and says non-denominational ceremonies are possible when preceded by a civil ceremony at the hotel or the town hall. After a chapel ceremony, drinks can be served on the lawns in front of it, and the Four Seasons Private Room seats up to 60 at round tables, with a terrace for cocktails. The hotel's wedding pages carry its current packages.

Our approach to a Four Seasons wedding

We have not photographed a wedding at the Four Seasons Limassol so far, and we would never pretend otherwise. But small ceremonies are something we love: in a chapel for 35 people every expression is close at hand, and a documentary approach really comes into its own when nothing is staged.

A small Orthodox-style chapel in the grounds gives soft, intimate light inside and bright contrast at the door as you walk out together. The pier, by contrast, is open to the sky and the horizon, so a late-afternoon ceremony there rewards you with warm side light and the sea behind you. Between the two, the lawns and the beach give us room for relaxed portraits without dragging you away from your guests for long.

Our portfolio shows plenty of intimate weddings. If the Four Seasons is on your shortlist, get in touch and we will talk it through.

Getting married in Limassol

For a small wedding, Limassol is easy to plan: the town hall is in the city, guests have plenty of hotels and restaurants to choose from, and the seafront is lovely in the evenings. Our guide to getting married in Limassol covers the process, and our page on small and intimate wedding venues in Cyprus will help if you are still deciding. As Cyprus wedding photographers who regularly travel across the island, we explain more on our Limassol wedding photographer page.

If you would rather swap the seafront for vineyards, Ktima Gerolemo near Omodos is worth a look, and AMARA, on the same stretch of coast, offers a more contemporary style of seafront hotel.

  • How many guests fit in St George Chapel?

The hotel describes bench seating for around 10 people, with room for a further 25 seats in front — about 35 in total. If your guest list is longer, the pier takes up to 80.

  • Can we have an Orthodox wedding in the Four Seasons chapel?

The chapel is built in a traditional Orthodox style, but the hotel lists it for Anglican and civil ceremonies and blessings. If you are planning a religious ceremony of another kind, speak to the hotel or your planner about what can be arranged.

  • Do we need to marry legally in Cyprus or can we just have a blessing?

Either works. A symbolic ceremony or blessing can take place anywhere, so some couples marry legally at home and hold the celebration here. If you want the legal wedding in Cyprus, you apply in person at the municipality; our page on Cyprus marriage requirements for UK couples lists the paperwork.

  • Could we have our photos sooner than the usual delivery time?

Your full gallery normally arrives within 6–10 weeks. If you would like to share images sooner, our Premium Plus and Luxury collections include delivery within 72 hours.
