Parklane Resort Wedding Photography, Limassol
Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, is one of Limassol's largest beachfront resorts, set in landscaped grounds beside a Blue Flag sandy beach. Its combination of a private garden chapel, lawns by the sea and a pillar-free ballroom makes it unusually flexible: an intimate vow renewal and a wedding for several hundred guests both make sense here. Many UK couples will remember it by its former name, Le Méridien. Beziique, the husband-and-wife team of Nick and Aimie Wild, would be delighted to photograph a wedding at Parklane.
About Parklane
Part of Marriott's Luxury Collection, Parklane is spread across around 85,000 square metres of gardens on the coast east of Limassol town, with 222 rooms and 34 suites looking out towards a 300-metre golden-sand beach. There are five restaurants and two bars, and the Kalloni Spa, which is useful when you are planning a few days of celebrations rather than a single afternoon.
For weddings, Marriott lists four settings. The chapel sits in the gardens and suits intimate ceremonies and vow renewals. The Great Lawns run down to the beach for ceremonies and receptions with the sea behind. The Diamond Ballroom, a pillar-free space with chandeliers, takes around 550 for a banquet and 1,200 for a reception. Nammos Limassol, the beach club on site, adds a livelier option for parties. Packages are offered in Diamond, Sapphire and Emerald tiers.
What Parklane offers a photographer
We have yet to photograph a wedding at Parklane, so this page is about what we would love to do there rather than what we have done. A resort of this size gives us real choice: a chapel set among gardens for the ceremony, a long beach for portraits, and broad lawns where the low evening sun falls straight across the tables.
Our way of working is quiet and observational. We look for the real moments — the walk from the chapel, a friend fixing a buttonhole, grandparents dancing — and only step in to gently arrange portraits when you want them. At Parklane we would plan a short stroll on the beach about an hour before sunset, then let the evening run without interruption.

Getting married in Limassol
Limassol mixes a busy, modern seafront with an old town full of tavernas and a pretty marina, so guests who arrive a few days early have plenty to enjoy. Our guide to getting married in Limassol and our civil wedding in Cyprus explainer cover the legal side. For more on how we cover the city as Cyprus wedding photographers, see our Limassol wedding photographer page.
Nearby alternatives include NAMMOS Limassol, the beach club within the resort, and the Four Seasons further along the Limassol seafront.
Does Parklane have its own chapel?
Yes. Marriott describes a private chapel in the resort's gardens, suited to intimate ceremonies and vow renewals. Ask the resort or your planner which ceremony types can be held there and whether a legal civil ceremony is possible on site.
Is Parklane the same hotel as Le Méridien Limassol?
Yes. The resort traded as Le Méridien Limassol Spa & Resort before it was relaunched as Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, under Marriott.
When is the best month for a beach wedding in Limassol?
May, June, September and October bring warm days and softer light. July and August are hot, so a late-afternoon or sunset ceremony is kinder to everyone, especially on an open lawn by the beach. Our guide to beach weddings in Cyprus has more tips.
How long do we need to be in Cyprus before the wedding?
There is no residency period. You apply in person at the municipality, and with ordinary notice you marry at least 15 clear days later; a special licence allows an earlier date, sometimes the next working day. Most couples arrive about three working days ahead.
