Ktima Aloe Vera Wedding Photography, Alassa

Up the road from Limassol towards Troodos, near the village of Alassa, Ktima Aloe Vera is an outdoor events estate wrapped in pine trees and greenery. It is built mainly for big Cypriot celebrations — weddings and christenings with long guest lists — but it also offers destination couples something different from the coast: cooler hill air, a green backdrop and a night under carefully lit trees. We are Nick and Aimie Wild, and this mountain-road estate is one we would love to photograph for you.

About Ktima Aloe Vera

The venue gives its address as the Platres–Troodos road beside the small chapel of Zoodochos Pigi, in the Limassol district, with local listings placing it around Alassa and neighbouring Limnatis. Cypriot press describes a green setting framed by pine trees, with lighting designed to bring the grounds alive after dark, and some listings also mention old olive trees.

Ktima Aloe Vera hosts weddings, christenings, birthdays and corporate events, and offers its own catering and equipment hire. It is a large venue: published capacities range from about 800 to 1,200 guests depending on the source, so it is worth asking the team directly what they recommend for your numbers and layout. The estate does not have its own website; it is reached through Instagram, by phone or by email.

Photographing a hillside estate

We have not photographed a wedding at Ktima Aloe Vera yet. From what we have seen, though, a pine-fringed estate in the foothills is a lovely place for natural pictures: the trees give shade in the heat of the day, and the light after sunset, with the estate's lighting coming up, is warm and atmospheric.

For portraits, we would usually steal a few minutes with you among the trees in the last of the daylight, then let the evening unfold. At a big local wedding we keep moving through the crowd, looking for genuine reactions rather than lining people up, and we are used to the pace and noise of a full Cypriot reception.

Our portfolio gives a feel for the documentary way we work. If you are booked at Ktima Aloe Vera, please get in touch — we would love to hear about your day.

Getting married in the Limassol district

Alassa is about a twenty-minute climb into the hills from Limassol, and guests usually stay in the city or on the coast. Our getting married in Limassol guide covers the local paperwork, and our Cyprus wedding cost guide helps with budgeting for a larger celebration. For a contrast with a seafront setting, take a look at the Four Seasons in Limassol.

As Cyprus wedding photographers who have covered more than a thousand weddings across the island, we enjoy venues away from the beach. You can read more about our work as a Limassol wedding photographer.

  • How many guests does Ktima Aloe Vera hold?

Published figures vary: one listing says up to 800 guests and Cypriot press reports up to 1,200. Ask the venue directly for current seated and standing capacities.

  • Is Ktima Aloe Vera an outdoor venue?

Yes, the estate is described as an outdoor setting among pine trees, lit up for evening events. We have not been able to confirm an indoor alternative, so ask the venue about wet-weather plans if you are marrying outside the summer months.

  • Is it cooler up in the hills?

Generally a little, which helps in July and August, though high summer is still hot. May–June and September–October remain the most comfortable months, and an early-evening start makes the most of the light.

  • How do we contact the venue?

Ktima Aloe Vera has no website. It lists its Instagram account (@ktima_aloe_vera) and its contact details in Cypriot wedding listings. Your planner can also make the first approach for you.
