Ktima Vikis Wedding Photography, Souni

Ktima Vikis is a large garden estate in the village of Souni-Zanakia, inland from Limassol, set among trees and flowers and built for celebrations on a grand scale. It is one of the venues Cypriot families turn to when the guest list runs into the hundreds, and it also gives destination couples a countryside alternative to a seafront hotel. If you are planning a big, joyful reception, it is the kind of place where the evening can really build. Nick and Aimie Wild of Beziique would love to photograph your wedding here.

About Ktima Vikis

The estate lies at Agiou Nikolaou 1 in Souni-Zanakia, in the Limassol district, on a landscaped plot of 9,364 square metres. Its own figures put capacity at up to 1,000 guests for a seated dinner and up to 2,000 for a cocktail reception, which places it among the bigger reception venues around Limassol.

Ktima Vikis hosts weddings, engagements, christenings, birthdays and corporate dinners, and describes a quiet setting with personalised service. Real weddings featured by Chic & Stylish Weddings range from a boho-style summer celebration to a romantic autumn wedding with lush florals, which suggests the gardens adapt well to very different styling. For current details, visit the Ktima Vikis website.

What we would look for with a camera

We have not photographed a wedding at Ktima Vikis so far, but it is a setting we would love to work in. Gardens on this scale give us room: space to step back for the sweep of the evening, and quiet corners under the trees for portraits away from the crowd.

Souni sits in rolling countryside, and the light out here in the hour before sunset is softer and greener than on the coast. That is when we like to take couples for ten or fifteen minutes of gently guided portraits. Later, with hundreds of guests, the story is in the details — grandparents at the edge of the dance floor, the noise of the first entrance, friends lifting the couple — and we work quietly to catch them as they happen.

Have a look at our portfolio to see how we tell a wedding day, and get in touch if Ktima Vikis is where you are celebrating.

Getting married in the Limassol area

Souni is an easy drive from Limassol, so most guests stay in the city or along the coast and travel in for the evening. Our Limassol wedding guide explains the town hall process, and couples coming from the UK will find the legal steps set out in our guide for UK couples. We work as a Limassol wedding photographer as well as in Paphos, and as Cyprus wedding photographers since 2008 we are used to large, multi-generational receptions.

If you are comparing venues west of Limassol, Columbia Beach Resort in Pissouri offers a very different, coastal option within reach of the same guests.

  • How big a wedding can Ktima Vikis host?

The venue states it can seat up to 1,000 guests for dinner and welcome up to 2,000 for a cocktail reception, across a 9,364m² estate.

  • Can we have a legal civil ceremony at Ktima Vikis?

We have seen a directory suggest the gardens can host civil ceremonies, but we could not confirm it from the venue. Your planner or the venue will confirm. A symbolic ceremony or blessing can be held in the gardens either way.

  • How long does the legal process take?

You apply in person at the municipality. With ordinary notice you can marry from 15 clear days after applying, and within three months; a special licence lets you marry sooner, sometimes the next working day. In Limassol for 2026 that is about €128 ordinary or €282 special, plus €130 for Saturdays or out of hours. Our page on Cyprus marriage requirements for UK couples lists the documents.

  • Do you charge travel to Souni?

We are based in Kouklia, near Paphos. Weddings within 20 miles of Kouklia have no travel fee; Souni is further than that, so a travel fee applies, and we will set it out clearly in your quote.
